Professional Background

Professor Gary Bishop serves as the advisor for the Business Law concentration, and the Director of Legal Research and Writing at New England Law | Boston.

Before teaching, Professor Bishop was an associate at Bingham, Dana & Gould and at Ropes & Gray. He has published law review articles analyzing the practical impact of constitutional principles on discrete provisions of state law. Professor Bishop was Editor-in-Chief of the Boston College Law Review, and he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Francis P. O'Connor at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
